There are six Maryland casinos. These range from massive gaming resorts to smaller casinos in rural parts of the state. Each has its unique part in Maryland’s casino industry.
All typical casino games can be found in Maryland casinos. These include blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, pai gow, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Mississippi Stud, Let it Ride, live poker rooms, video poker, slots, and keno. Maryland requires all casino guests to be at least 21 years old. Five of the six Maryland casinos offers sportsbooks.
Hollywood Casino Perryville has about 800 slot and video poker machines, 20 table games, a three-table poker room and a race book. A sportsbook opened on December 23, 2021.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore has about 2,200 slot and video poker machines, 150 table games, a 22-table poker room, sportsbook and race book.

Live! Casino & Hotel
Live! Casino & Hotel has over 4,000 slot and video poker machines, around 200 table games, a 50-table poker room and sportsbook.
The property has eleven restaurants, multiple bars, event center and a 310-room hotel.
MGM National Harbor
MGM National Harbor has 3,300 slot and video poker machines, 120 table games, a 37-table poker room, sportsbook and race book.
The property has nine restaurants, a food court, multiple bars and a 234-room hotel. Other amenities include a convention center, event venue and shopping.
Ocean Downs Casino
Ocean Downs Casino has around 900 slot and video poker machines, around 20 table games, sportsbook and a harness race track.
The property has four restaurants, a couple bars and meeting space. Partner hotels are in the area.
Rocky Gap Resort
Rocky Gap Casino has 660 slot and video poker machines and 17 table games.
The property has three restaurants, a couple bars, Comedy Club, an 18-hole golf course, spa and 216-room hotel.

Maryland voters approved sports betting by a two-to-one margin in November 2020. The Maryland General Assembly then passed a bill to regulate sportsbooks, and it was signed into law by Governor Larry Hogan in May 2021. There are five sportsbooks in Maryland.
