Hollywood Casino Perryville is about an hour north of Baltimore on Interstate 95. We visited the casino on a Saturday afternoon in May 2021. It offers lower limits and an overall better value than the casinos in Baltimore.
The casino offers the typical assortment of table games, video poker, and popular slot titles. The facility also offers an off-track betting parlor, a sportsbook, and a poker room. There are also two dining options. Hollywood Casino Perryville does not have a hotel.

Hollywood Casino Perryville table games
Hollywood Casino Perryville is on the smaller side of casino venues in Maryland. It has two small pits with most standard table games available. The selection with the minimum bets that we found during a May 2021 visit was:
- Blackjack, 3:2, six decks, surrender, hit soft 17: $15
- Craps, 3-4-5x odds, field pays double on 12: $25
- Double-zero roulette: $15
- Four Card Poker: $10
- High Card Flush: $10
- Spanish 21: $15
- Three Card Poker: $10
- Ultimate Texas Hold’em: $10
There were two forms of electronic table games. Double zero roulette has $1, $2, and $5 denominations. There was also a Big Wheel machine with a $1 denomination.
Video poker and slots
The first thing that we noticed when looking at the games is that the slot and video poker cabinets are mostly on the older side. The video poker selection is also on the smaller side when compared against other Maryland casinos.
The only video poker machines that we could get on were Ultimate X. We found dime and quarter denominations. The pay tables got better at quarter, but we did not see anything that we wanted to play. Other video poker variants that we found were Spin Poker, Super Times Pay, Double Super Times Pay, and 3/5/10-play. The usual denominations were nickel, dime, and quarter. The 3/5/10-play went up to $1.
We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and had trouble getting on the machines. Some were turned off due to social distancing. Some had people seated at them that clearly were not playing.
Hollywood Casino Perryville poker room
There are three tables at the Hollywood Casino Perryville poker room. It deals 1/3 no-limit Texas hold’em. The buy-in is $100 to $500. Promotions include high hands and hourly cash rates.

Penn Play players club
The mychoice players club became Penn Play in April 2023. The card is used at Hollywood Casino Perryville. Tier points are earned while playing slots, video poker, table games, and sports betting. There is an off-track betting parlor at Hollywood Casino Perryville. Located next to the poker room, races are aired on 23 large TVs. Individual TVs are available in betting carrels. It opens at 11:30am daily and closes at 7:30pm Sunday through Wednesday, 8:30pm on Thursdays, and 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights.

Hollywood Casino Perryville has two dining options. Quick bites are available at Hollywood Express. Located on the casino floor, this counter-style fare offers salads, burgers, sandwiches, snacks, and desserts.
Barstool Sportsbook Restaurant serves cocktails and locally brewed beers. Menu items include craft burgers, sandwiches, wings, and pizza. Minors are welcome to dine in the sports bar, provided they use the casino’s south entrance. A kid’s menu is available. Live bands and acoustic performers play Friday and Saturday nights. Drink service extends until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights, and midnight the other nights.
